Baby leaves of Alexander Technique in your daily life

Designed to get you further into the Alexander Technique. With this mid-length course you realize some big changes in your daily activities. Walking, Sitting, Running, picking something up, you will start using your body differently. 

Total of 5 lessons (within 2 month) to complete the Awake course. 


Basic (30min x 5)
Get basic idea of AT
Learn 4 procedures: Sitting on and out of a chair, Monkey, Toes and heals, Walking

Deep (60min x 5)
Consultation
Get basic idea of AT
Learn 4 procedures: Sitting on and out of a chair, Monkey, Toes and heals, Walking
Table work at every sessions


Here's the outline of the five lessons.

 

Process #1
Check conditions and problems (if you have)
Learn about 5 principles of AT and observe tendencies/habits through chair work and table work
+Table work for 60min session

Process #2
Recognize habits and changes in 1st week
Continue to work on tendencies/habits through chair work
Learn half-squat(called "Monkey") which is a useful tool in daily activities
+Table work for 60min session

Process #3
Observe changes which happen in 2 weeks
Review for Chair work, Monkey
Talk about UP and Base
Table work

Process #4
Talk about "Back Back" and lower belly ("hara"/ "Tanden")
Chair work and learn one of the procedures "Toes and heels"
+Table work for 60min session

Process #5
Review for Chair work, Monkey, Toes and heels and learn "Walking"
Table work
